Canberra basedThe Australian Government is seeking applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer, Sport Integrity Australia.Sport Integrity Australia is a regulatory agency established by the Government in 2020 to provide a nationally coordinated and streamlined approach to keeping Australian sport safe and fair, at all levels, for all participants.Sport Integrity Australia coordinates all elements of the national sports integrity threat response including prevention, monitoring and detection, investigation and enforcement. Sport Integrity Australia provides a single point of contact for athletes, sporting organisations, law enforcement bodies and other stakeholders for matters relating to sports integrity.As Australia's national anti-doping organisation, the agency provides a comprehensive anti-doping program for the Australian sport community. Sport Integrity Australia also administers the National Integrity Framework, which is a set of rules that all members of sports need to follow when it comes to their behaviour and conduct in sport.Role of the CEOAs CEO, you will be responsible for coordinating a national approach and implementing initiatives to address sports integrity threats.You will provide advice to the Minister for Sport and the Australian Government on matters relating to sports integrity. You will lead the executive and staff of Sport Integrity Australia in setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and the agency's mission.In leading Australia's national anti-doping organisation, you will execute regulatory anti-doping functions and ensure Australia's compliance with relevant anti-doping legislation and standards through investigations, educational programs and the facilitation of testing.You will develop, coordinate and strengthen relationships among governments of the States and Territories, regulators, sporting organisations, law enforcement and other domestic and international agencies.You will represent Sport Integrity Australia in its dealings with external stakeholders domestically and internationally, affirming the agency's position as a global leader in sports integrity.EligibilityThe successful candidate:must be an Australian Citizenwill be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearancewill be required to obtain and maintain a Working with Vulnerable People Card.How to ApplyBefore applying, please obtain an Information Pack with selection documentation from Amanda O'Rourke Executive Search at ****** quoting Ref.
