About the Role: CMS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead our facility in providing high-quality healthcare services.
The CEO will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the facility, ensuring its financial stability and growth.
This role requires a visionary leader who can foster a positive organisational culture and drive the hospital towards achieving its mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and strategic direction for the facility, overseeing clinical, administrative, and financial operations.
Manage and implement the facility's Strategic and Operational Plans, ensuring successful outcomes.
Oversee the Organisation-wide Risk Management and Quality Management Frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards.
Lead and support all facility staff, including the Director of Nursing, Administration Manager, and clinical teams.
Ensure the delivery of the highest standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Manage financial resources effectively, including budgeting, cost containment, and financial reporting.
Promote innovation in healthcare delivery, integrating new technologies and sustainable practices into operations.
Drive staff development through education programs, orientation, and professional development initiatives.
Professional Qualifications and Personal Attributes: Tertiary qualifications in Health, Management, or Business.
Post-graduate experience in a clinical field such as nursing, optometry, or allied health.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
Commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
Operating Theatre Certificate or equivalent operating room experience.
Knowledge of Quality and Risk Management.
Experience in managing budget cycles.
Membership of professional associations.
