Jan Japan Motors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Chief Executive / Managing Director to join our team at our Mickleham, VIC location in a full-time position.
In this role, you will play a vital role in determining and overseeing the overall direction and management of our organisation.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the management team, senior staff, and stakeholders to develop and execute business strategies, objectives, and policies to meet short-term and long-term goals of the organisation.
Foster positive, trust-based relationships with employees, partners, shareholders, and customers.
Evaluate and approve material, human, and financial resources to implement policies and programs.
Represent the organisation at official events and forums, facilitating communication across areas of responsibility.
Direct daily business activities to align with a customer-centric strategy.
Oversee and support the growth and development of service centre operations.
Work closely with and reflect on the team to enhance organisational performance.
Assess the organisation's performance against its objectives and strategies, and recommend improvements for labour, equipment, and technologies as appropriate.
Prepare business cases for capital expenditures, staffing, and other necessary resources.
Evaluate and manage inventory levels effectively.
Apply effective management skills in recruitment, coaching, succession planning, and employee relations, working with People and Culture as necessary.
Recommend and support ongoing training for direct reports to build a high-performing team.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of reports, budgets, and forecasts for presentation to governing bodies.
Maintain occupational health and safety standards and collaborate with the corporate Health and Safety committee.
Ensure the organisation complies with company laws and relevant legislative requirements.
Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
Diploma or Degree in Business will be highly regarded.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Exceptional problem-solving skills and focus.
Must be available to work overtime and travel to conduct works onsite as required.
