Chief Engineer

Job Title: Chief EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team on a cutter suction dredger. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of 8 employees on a cutter suction dredgerEnsure the safe and efficient operation of the vesselOversee maintenance and repairs of the dredge pumps and main enginesDevelop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtimeCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsRequirements:MED qualifications (Marine Emergency Duties)Experience on CSD, TSHD, or BHD vesselsProven experience as Chief EngineerStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExcellent leadership, supervision, coaching, and planning skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive salary21/10 days' rotation or 6 weeks on 4 weeks offAccommodation will be provided locally457 Work visa #J-18808-Ljbffr
