Chief Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee property maintenance and improvements at The Westin Perth and Aloft Perth. As part of the senior management team, you will report directly to the General Managers and be responsible for a team of professional trade and support staff.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain the building, grounds, and physical plant with attention to safety, security, and asset protection. Manage the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation. Develop and implement strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed guest and employee expectations. Lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure seamless operations. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chief Engineer. Trade qualification(s) are essential. A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is highly desirable. Previous experience in a large-scale hotel Engineering department is desirable. Strong management and teamwork capabilities. Previous experience with a PMS – Property Management System.
