Chief Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of engineers to plan and execute preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.Design and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce our environmental impact.Manage contractors and ensure compliance with OH&S and fire safety regulations.Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.Prepare and submit quarterly audit reports and monthly maintenance reports to senior management.Maintain accurate records of repair work and daily checks as required by local authorities and manufacturers.Liaise with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.Research and recommend new procedures to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.RequirementsTrade qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.Proven experience in leading a team and managing maintenance functions.Exceptional communication and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.Hands-on approach to problem-solving and emergency maintenance.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Access to Accor Hotels' employee benefits and discounts.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for career growth and development.We are an inclusive company and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
