Chief Engineer - Gold Coast - Westpac

You will drive technology strategy and development of solutions to support risk, regulatory and remediation programs as Westpac's Chief Engineer (Chief Operating Office (COO) Technology).Key Responsibilities:Establishing and leading the COO Tech engineering capability.Driving strong engineering and solution design practices.Maintaining close collaboration with Technology Domain Owners teams.Providing clear direction and advice on divisional solution design and best practices.Assessing and understanding the evolving risk and regulatory requirements of Consumer division.This role requires a self-starter who can work independently, with strong engineering leadership experience in leveraging agile and DevOps principles, preferably in a finance or risk and regulatory domain.
You should have advanced knowledge of presentation, integration and enabling technologies in the risk and regulatory space, and a track record of engaging, managing and influencing diverse stakeholders and priorities.We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other.
