Job DescriptionThe Chief Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of our vessels.
Duties include:
Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime;Maintaining engine cleanliness, pumps, hydraulic equipment, electrical systems, lighting, and bridge equipment;Complying with regulations, including ISM codes and oil pollution standards;Bunkering fuel and oil as required;Maintaining ship manuals and standing watch during emergencies;Presenting engine room tours and dining with guests on occasion.Key Qualifications:
Engineer Class 1 or 2 AMSA Endorsement;International Medical Certification;First Aid & CPR training;Valid Passport and ASSB or equivalent discharge book.Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
