Chief Engineer
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the entire engineering operations of the hotel's systems, plant, and equipment.The management of the department's team members and ensuring the budget is utilized efficiently and effectively ensures the hotel is able to deliver exceptional guest experiences.Key responsibilities also include ensuring Australian building compliance requirements are met, acting as Chief Fire Warden, championing hotel environmental and sustainability initiatives, ensuring Hilton Brand Standards are adhered to, and maintaining the hotel's assets.Job Summary
Lead the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotelImplement and maintain a preventative maintenance programMonitor and coordinate services performed by outside contractorsCollaborate with departments like Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure seamless operationsResponsibilities:
Oversight of all engineering operations across the hotel's interior and exterior facilitiesSeamless facilities management, exceptional guest experiences, and compliance with safety and sustainability standardsPlan, implement and administer an effective preventive maintenance programPlan, implement and administer an energy management programEnsure the hotel complies with all local codes and regulations related to safety and environmental standardsConduct ongoing inspections of building and facilitiesManage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving measuresCoordinate renovation bidding and oversee the general contractor and subcontractorsRespond to emergencies, such as equipment failures or natural disastersAbout Us
