TasWater is seeking a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to join the senior leadership team.
Reporting to the CFO, the CDO will drive the delivery of TasWater's Digital and Technology Strategic Roadmap, leveraging innovation and advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability outcomes.
The CDO will manage TasWater's digital budget, embed innovation, and advance data governance and analytics capabilities.
Providing strategic leadership to the Digital and Information Technology department (circa 65 staff), the CDO will play a pivotal role in leading the technology transformation across the organisation.
A key focus for the role will be to lead the development and delivery of the strategic priorities, ensuring the IT and Digital strategies are future-oriented, customer-centric, and aligned with the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.
The role will also partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and senior leaders to identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational excellence through technology.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly regarded as a strategic leader with significant IT/Digital Technology experience within a large, complex, customer-focused organisation.
You will be innovative in your thinking and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to inspire, influence, and enhance capability across your team, and will operate as a collaborative business partner with your internal stakeholders.
You are experienced in providing leadership as a change agent, leading the TasWater technology strategy, execution, and operations.
