12 + 12 month contract - Baseline clearance required Take ownership of Salesforce, Vlocity, and Mulesoft platforms Any state office in Australia - 2 days per week onsite Our client, a Federal Government agency based in every state, requires an experienced Chief Developer (EL2) for a long 12 + 12 month contract.
Duties Develop and guide targets and standards across Salesforce, Vlocity, and Mulesoft platforms ensuring alignment with best practices.
Establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and implement governance processes.
Lead and mentor chapter teams in the respective technologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to enhance skills and technical capabilities.
Collaborate with other technical leads to define and refine the technical strategy and roadmap.
Oversee the progress of development projects within the chapter, supporting the resolution of blockers and issues.
Ensure seamless integration across Salesforce, Mule Soft, Vlocity and other systems.
Essential Criteria Proven experience as a software developer with a track record of leading development teams and delivering complex projects; experience in building team capability, establishing/refining and influencing processes/practices.
Successfully implemented minimum 5+ Salesforce platform-based CRM projects using an agile methodology.
Strong expertise in Salesforce Vlocity components, including Omni Script, Data Raptor, and Integration Procedures.
Proficient in Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
Experience with Dev Ops practices and tools, cloud infrastructure and version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns and building & working with integration (example REST APIs, Platform Events).
Possess high level Salesforce certifications.
Accessible design & development skills will be highly regarded.
