Job ResponsibilitiesConduct chemical analysis on wine samples to monitor pH levels, acidity, sugar content, and sulphur dioxide levels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality specifications.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, and gas chromatographs to perform routine quality control tests throughout the winemaking process.Monitor bottling processes by testing the chemical properties of wine at various stages, ensuring that our clients' wine is processed according to their requirements.Record and analyse data from chemical tests and experiments, preparing detailed reports for winemakers and production managers to guide decision-making in blending, aging, and bottling.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards by properly handling chemicals and laboratory materials and ensuring all laboratory operations meet Australian wine industry regulations.Assist in research and development by supporting experiments to optimise production techniques, improve wine preservation, or develop new wine products with innovative chemical treatments.Job Type: Full-timePay: $73,150.00 – $80,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Quality control (QC) role: 2 years (Required)Licence/Certification:Chemistry Technician Certificate (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 11/11/2024
