About the role : The Chemical Safety Specialist provides expert leadership, consultancy and support on matters relating to chemical safety management across PathWest, ensuring the compliance with relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
This position leads the implementation and maintenance of the chemical management framework with accompanying procedures and guidelines for the mitigation of chemical risks and the identification of opportunities for improvement across PathWest to ensure a safe workplace for staff and the community.
Working as part of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) team, the role is responsible for providing specialist advice to PathWest and its staff about chemicals management and compliance, to enhance safety outcomes for our workers.
