About the role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of a Chemical Plant manufacturing flocculants and solutions. Working across multiple teams, the role requires you to follow strict operational procedures to uphold a safety-conscious environment.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Safe operation of the Kwinana Chemical Manufacturing plant.Take routine measurements and log results as per operating procedures.Sample and test products for quality and operational requirements.Meet safety, learning, and production requirements.Operate Linde forklifts as required.Communicate with the managers on production activities.Provide assistance to staff in other areas in case of emergencies, breakdowns, etc.Other tasks as directed.Familiarity with computers.SAP experience would be beneficial.Skills and experience To be successful in this role and a key contributor to our commercial team, you will need the following:
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Ability to work unsupervised.Previous experience in chemical handling (highly regarded).Strong communication skills, ability to speak clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts.Work on a 4 on 4 off roster consisting of 2 x nights and 2 x days.Strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure high quality of work.Current Australian forklift license.Proven experience in safe and efficient operations of a forklift.If you believe you have the skills, attitude and motivation to be part of this fast-growing and agile team, please apply.
