It facilitates ongoing risk minimization programs, helping clients meet legislative obligations and maintain safe chemical management processes.Role Overview: We are seeking a Chemical Compliance Auditor/Trainer & Scientific Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will conduct Hazardous Chemicals and Dangerous Goods audits and provide training on our ChemAlert system to clients in Australia, with potential for international travel.Key Responsibilities:Conduct on-site Chemical Audits for Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.Assess areas such as Storage & Handling, Transport, Safety Data Sheets & Labelling, Personal Protective Equipment, Placarding & Manifests, Risk Assessments, Emergency Response, and Waste Disposal.Compile ChemAlert Stock Management profiles following chemical inventory assessments.Facilitate on-site training courses across Australia.Research and compile ChemAlert reports and safety data sheets using our proprietary software.Collaborate with Scientific Advisers to enhance the technical and legislative content of the ChemAlert program.Consult with clients, authorities, manufacturers, and suppliers regarding chemical issues.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or a Science degree.Experience in training facilitation (Cert. IV in Training & Assessment is advantageous).Minimum 2 years' experience in auditing or a chemical safety-related role.Valid Class C driver's licence.Key Attributes:Client-focusedIndependent and resourcefulWillingness to travel extensively throughout AustraliaApplication Instructions: Please address the selection criteria in a cover letter attached to your application.
