We are excited to offer an opportunity for passionate and skilled Chefs to join our team at Twelveboar Northlakes, located in 3/1646 Anzac Ave, Mango Hill QLD 4509.
Twelveboar is dedicated to provide an exceptional dining experience with expertly crafted cuisines.
We are currently seeking talented and experienced Chefs to become a vital part of our dynamic team, contributing to our goal of creating memorable and authentic culinary experiences.
Duties may include but not limited to: Menu Creation and Resource Management: Responsible for designing varied and appealing menus, calculating food and labor costs, and managing the sourcing of necessary ingredients and supplies.Quality Control: Supervise the entire food preparation process to ensure high standards of quality and presentation from start to finish.Collaboration with Key Team Members: Work closely with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and wait staff to resolve food preparation concerns and ensure seamless kitchen operations.Culinary Guidance and Skills Demonstration: Provide demonstrations of cooking techniques and expert advice to ensure consistency and efficiency in food preparation.Active Food Preparation: Take part in the cooking and preparation of dishes, ensuring they meet quality and taste standards.Health and Safety Compliance: Communicate and enforce kitchen hygiene and safety standards, ensuring adherence to health regulations.Staff Hiring and Development: Participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to improve their skills and enhance kitchen productivity.Food Storage and Preservation: Oversee the freezing, preservation, and storage of food to maintain freshness and reduce waste.Qualifications: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent.Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.Strong leadership and effective communication skills.Proven ability to deliver high-quality food and service in a fast-paced environment.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen.Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.What We Offer: By joining our team, you will have the unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
