We cater for approximately 250 people per night, consisting of regular in-house guests and the general public.Applicants must have:Trade Qualification or 3 years Previous Experience in a Similar RoleAbility to work evenings and weekends on a rotating rosterThe Kalgoorlie Overland Motel is looking for chefs/cooks who can:Set up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report, and follow executive or sous chef's instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersJob Details:Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $73,500 per year + Superannuation and OvertimePhysical Setting: RestaurantShift: 8 hour shift, Afternoon shift, Evening shiftThis is a residential role; No FIFO.Advertising Period: 4 weeks from 3rd of January to 5th February 2025.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a chef?
