Chefs And Restaurant Manager

Our clients are a Sydney-based hospitality group with a focus on great service and food. We are looking for standout Chef and Restaurant Managers to join the team.Chef ResponsibilitiesIdeally, you should have at least two years' experience as a chef. Your duties will include:Assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen proceduresPreparation of food for serviceWorking with the Head Chef creatively for menu developmentAssisting with the management of food safety and hygiene practicesMonitoring portion and waste controlSupervising and coordinating activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparationDemonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to staffInspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standardsEnforcing OH&S and hygiene regulations and standardsSalary RangeThe salary range for the position is between $70k to $120k.Job TypeFull-time, Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year.Restaurant Manager ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Customer Experience:Place a high value on team culture and lead with warmth and confidenceLead a tight, high-performing team with consistent management, support, and mentoringManage recruitment and induction of new staffManage team member performance including regular one-on-ones and performance reviewsEnsure the highest standards of presentation and maintenanceEnsure consistent delivery of customer service excellence and achievement of KPIsEnsure all regulatory requirements are satisfied including health and safety and employee training and developmentManagement and Administration:Oversee restaurant operations including budgets, rostering, and ordering suppliesOversee accurate fiscal reportingControl management, forecasting, and supplier ordering of inventoryUphold and manage systems and manualsWork with the business owners to plan and facilitate long- and short-term financial strategies to ensure ongoing profitabilityWork closely with team members including Head Chef in planning menus and providing suggestions for improvementAssist with greeting guests and taking bookingsBe involved in major events for the businessSalary RangeThe salary range for the position is between $70k to $120K.Job TypeFull-time/Permanent.Application NoteWhy are you the right candidate for this role?Be cautious about who you give your information to.
