Chef- The Wellard Tavern

The Well Tavern is looking for an experienced full time chef to join our team!

Located at the end of The Strand in Wellard Village Centre, across from the train Station, the Wellard is a family-friendly bistro tavern with a delicious menu of bar snacks, pub classics and contemporary favourites. It has an amazing atmosphere and is the place to work!

What the role is about
Support the Head and Sous Chef in the day to day operation;;
Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation ;
Food preparation and presentation;
Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety and compliance internally and with health regulations;
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients from suppliers;
Able to work multiple sections and flexibility with hours;

Who are we looking for
Proven experience in a similar role (essential);
Standout attention to detail and presentation skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while still managing to crack a smile;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate
