Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our Team is looking to hire experienced full-time Chefs to join our Townhouse Restrobar located in Goondiwindi.
Responsibilities and Duties: Preparing food for serviceOrdering and maintaining inventory of food and suppliesExamining food to ensure quality during preparation and presentationCooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffDemonstrating different cooking techniques and advising on cooking proceduresReporting to and following management instructionsFacilitating special events and functionsEnsuring that food is served simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashionComplying with sanitation, hygiene regulations, and food safety standardsMaintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresAccuracy and speedFamiliarity with the industry's best practicesPreparing menu and costing itemsPreparing staff roster and costing the rosterLabour ManagementMeeting food cost budgets and other KPIsIdentifying any weaknesses in staff and addressing them through gap trainingQualifications and Experience: Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant fieldAt least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listedExcellent time management skillsAble to work well in a teamGood organization and communication skillsBenefits: Free foodProfessional development assistanceSchedule: Shift workSupplementary Pay: Annual bonusExperience: Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)Work Authorization: Australia (Preferred)Work Location: In person
