We are seeking a chef or experienced cook to join the team and work amongst our kitchen team to achieve impeccable food service. This position suits someone wanting day work only, with hours between 6am and 2pm or someone seeking a more sustainable lifestyle.
The Role You will work as part of the greater kitchen team, made up of qualified chefs and experienced cooks. Each day will be different, however you can expect to be assisting with plating and cooking menu items, prepping stock, assisting in coordinating stock and participating in day-to-day cleaning tasks. At times, you may also assist with dishes and other general workplace tasks.

We have one full-time, day position available, with hours between 6am and 2pm A second position for a part-time chef or cook, working various shifts between the hours of 6am to 4pm (Mon-Thur) and 6am to 8pm (Fri-Sun) No working on Christmas Day, and early finish on Christmas Eve A real-life sea change, you'll be working right on the beach! The applicant will be self-motivated and dedicated to food quality, consistency, and portion control. Strong knowledge of proper food handling, practical cookery, and hygiene standards. The applicant will also have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to keep workstations clean and tidy.
Qualifications and experience Food Handlers certificate/training or similar Experience in a busy café or restaurant preferred Remuneration The successful applicant will be remunerated according to the Restaurant Industry Award.
