Be a key player in a dynamic kitchen team at Coffee Town Cafe, designing menus, leading cooking, and fostering a collaborative work environment.


• Plan and develop menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.

• Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing training and guidance in food preparation, safety, and sanitation practices.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, culinary techniques, and ingredient innovations to enhance the menu and kitchen operations.

• Foster open communication and a positive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation among team members.

• Ensure efficient inventory management and ordering processes, contributing to cost-control strategies.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Develop strong relationships with customers, gathering feedback to inform menu and service improvements.



Eligibility

• Completion of a Certificate IV-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.

• At least two years of recent experience as a chef, demonstrating strong culinary skills and practices.

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen equipment, and culinary techniques.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a creative and innovative mindset.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.
