About the role Reporting to the Home Manager at Calvary Kirralee, located in Ballarat, we currently have an opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities A passion for, and previous experience working as a Chef Manager in Aged Care You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 to 8 support staff. Knowledge of the various legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the catering service within the residential care sector. Working knowledge of menu planning, ordering, managing stock levels, IDDSI, staff supervision and allergen management. Expected to coordinate supply and delivery of stock and meet regulatory compliance for reporting. What you bring Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery Diploma of Hospitality Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Health Care Competencies) Significant experience in a similar role in the residential care or health care sectors. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
