Monday to Friday 0900-1700Excellent tax-free salary packaging which increases your incomeAccommodation and dining benefits with Access PayAn excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Chef Manager to lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals at our Footscray Residential Aged Care Facility.  The Chef Manager will ensure the highest levels of service in food preparation, hygiene, kitchen services and hospitality standards are met. It is really important that you have a warm and hospitable personality and can relate to older people and deliver a wonderful customer service experience.   You will be required to manage the production team which includes, Cooks, Kitchen Assistants  and oversee rosters, budgets, review of menus, OHS, kitchen hygiene and managing all daily operations within the kitchen. Key requirements Ideally previous experience within an Aged Care or Health environment (2 years)Trade certificate or Diploma in CookeryAbility to lead by example and mentor/train the teamAbility to identify, resolve and manage problems and resolve conflict situations effectivelyComputer literacy, E-Case, Excel, Word, Outlook, documentation skills Ability to complete tasks by using time management skillsKnowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, and how it relates to your roleKnowledge of dementia in an aged care sittingKnowledge of IDDSI standardsNDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check) Royal Freemasons is a NDIS-approved provider.
