Chef Manager - Aged Care/Retirement

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Permanent Full-Time Chef Manager at our site in Semaphore Park.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday to Friday 9.00AM - 5.30PM
What This Role Involves:Preparing foods including texture-modified foodsAbility to work independently performing various kitchen tasksManaging bulk cooking efficientlyDelivering excellent customer service to enhance residents' dining experiencesAssisting the broader team as requiredDemonstrable team management, development & leadershipAdherence to food hygiene & safety practicesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Must have experience managing large teams of up to 25 staff membersKnowledge on IDDSI standardsExperience in rostering & budget management (food & labour costs)Aged care knowledge preferred but not essentialTrade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentFood Safety Supervisor CertificateRSAPossessing a valid driver's license and having access to a car (Preferred)What's in it for me?Excellent career prospects within a fast-paced growing companyThe chance to really make a differenceWhy Work For Us:Cater care is a contract catering service provider that is 100% Australian owned and operated.
