Cranbrook Care is looking for a Chef Manager to join the team at our premier aged care residence, William Cape Gardens, located near the Pacific Highway at Kanwal, a suburb of Wyong on the NSW Central Coast.
William Cape Gardens is a newly renovated, state of the art aged care residence catering to local residents of the Central Coast, providing the full spectrum of care and service including Dementia Care, Palliative Care, and Respite Care.

Dining is a fabulous social occasion that is one of the most important aspects of our residents' days.
Our kitchen operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
This role is full-time, working Monday to Friday with the requirement to work Public Holidays that fall on these days.
We are seeking a Chef Manager who: Is committed to delivering an exceptional level of service Is responsive to changes in the dietary requirements of residents Can work as part of the residence's Leadership Team Has proven experience in managing and leading a kitchen team Is committed to delivering quality services to our elderly residents ABOUT YOU You will: Have a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or other related trade qualification Have experience in aged care, hospital, or hotel background Be experienced in delivering high-quality food services Have a sound understanding of all regulatory compliance and food safety associated with cooking for vulnerable persons Have hygiene and infection control knowledge Have strong communication and time management skills Good computer literacy skills are an advantage Be organized, passionate, and possess a 'can do' attitude Can provide positive and caring leadership to team members This position will allow you to be part of a cohesive, dynamic team, dedicated to providing the best level of service and care to our residents.
