We are looking for a full-time Chef for our restaurant to join our highly talented team.

Responsibilities:
Oversee kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen activities.Prepare, season and cook food as la-carte menu, meeting dietary requirements where required.Exhibiting to kitchen staff the different styles and methods of cooking.Ensure the quality of food preparation and presentation is maintained all the time.Implement proper freezing and preservation techniques to extend the shelf life of certain ingredients without compromising quality.Provide support and assistance where necessary in all areas within the kitchen.Ensure the seasoning and garnishing of food is done appropriately and right portion of food is served to the customers.To develop new seasonal menus and make appropriate changes in the existing menu such as changes in prices of food items maintaining minimum overhead costs.Educate kitchen staff on hygiene regulations and enforce strict adherence to sanitary practices.Stock management including ordering, rotation, and wastage control.Maintain high standards of food hygiene accordance with regulatory standards.Rectifying arising problems or issuesEnsure occupational health and safety standards are always maintained and adhered by the kitchen staff.Qualification & Experience: Certificate IV qualification is desirable The candidate must have at least 2 years' experienceFriendly, positive & approachable attitudeWell presented & motivatedAble to work unsupervised under pressure. Salary: AUD $70,000- $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
