Next Gen Talent Company: FATEH OZ PTY LTD Position: Chef Location: T4, 4 Bay Street , Port Macquarie, NSW 2444 Salary: AUD 74000 + 11.5% Super Key Responsibilities: • Develop and prepare innovative and authentic Italian dishes.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and morale.
• Collaborate with the management team to plan seasonal menus and specials.
• Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings.
• Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships.
• Ensure the kitchen team is knowledgeable about health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
• Rotation of all food items and provision of all stock ensuring safe and hygienic storage Key Skills and Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional specialties.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for creativity and innovation in the kitchen.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
