We are renowned for our commitment to excellence and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience.We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard.Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:Design and plan menus considering dietary requirements, ensuring a balance between traditional flavours and modern dietary trends.Oversee the highest quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation.Work closely with management and front-of-house staff to discuss culinary processes, with a focus on dietary needs and customer preferences.Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.Ensuring all kitchen activities meet health and safety standards.Participate in the training and development of kitchen staff to maintain consistent quality and service.Keep abreast of culinary trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our menu.Skills or Experience required:A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management or Diploma of Hospitality Management, or equivalent and relevant qualification.At least 1-2 years of work experience in a similar or related role.Ability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, nights, weekends, school and public holiday periods.Salary:The salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and/or experience. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Salary range: $73,500 - $75,000 annually plus the applicable superannuation.Note: We will continue to accept applications or expressions of interest for this position for at least 4 weeks from the date of advertisement.Summary of role requirements:Flexible hours available1 year of relevant work experience required for this roleWork visa can be provided for this roleExpected salary: $73,500 - $75,000 per year
