The focus of this role is to provide high quality, nutritious meals and exceptional service to our residents to enhance their daily lives.
This includes:
Planning, ordering and preparing meals in a way that will enhance the resident's dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods.Ensure a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures.This is a Part Time role working Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-2:30pm. About you: This is the place for you if you have:
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).Experience in a Residential Aged Care kitchen environment (ordering, budgeting and rostering).Experience working with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods.Full knowledge of HACCP and food safety legislation.Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-2:30pm.Ability to thrive in a team and appreciate one-to-one interactions.Commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust).Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card.Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.Australian working rights.Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance.Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
