Our village in Tuggeranong, LDK Greenway Views is currently seeking a Casual Chef to join our Hospitality Team.
We are looking for someone to work Monday/Tuesday & Fridays.
Our supportive working environment provides many growth opportunities and allows a great work-life balance - with no requirement to work split shifts.
Duties as Chef at LDK Greenway Views include but are not limited to: Portioning, presenting and serving food to our residents and customersPreparing food items such as sandwiches and saladsProviding a high standard of customer service at all times and undertaking duties in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.Using and maintaining all kitchen equipment in an appropriate mannerGeneral pantry duties including handling, storing, and distributing a variety of goodsPicking, labelling, and dispatching goods in accordance with orders madeAssisting in the maintenance of stock levelsIf successful in your application, you will provide a range of comprehensive kitchen duties and assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in cooking a range of meals.
About You Qualifications/Certificates Cert III in Commercial Cookery or a higher hospitality qualificationFood Safety Certification (required)Proven, hands-on cooking experience with referees availableBuffet and bulk production experienceAwareness of the dietary requirements of the elderly (desirable)Successful applicants will be required to undergo a national police clearance and receive a current influenza immunisation prior to starting with us.
