Core requirements of the role We seek a talented culinary technician in the form of a Chef de Partie with traditional Argentinian cuisine experience, to join our General Manager | Head Chef and extended professional team at La Boca Bar and Grill.

Core Duties Operate the hand crafted parrilla and accompanying attachments (hot plate/hanging rod/s)Prepare and maintain the wood fire, whilst managing embers to ensure an optimal and stable temperatureMaintain heat by moving coals from fire to the grill to ensure optimum temperatureGrill and curate meat to the desired slow-grilled paceCooking and prepping for busy services, according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standardsMonitor the taste and presentation of dishes to maintain the highest culinary standardsContribute to the kitchen operations, ensuring organisation, cleanliness, and efficiencyUphold strict health, hygiene and safety standardsAbout you Previous experience as a Chef De Partie in Argentinian cuisineProven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse teamFlexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysComprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standardsMust have unrestricted Australian working rightsAbility to work unrestricted in Australia – full working rightsBe able to lift, push and pull large objects up to 50lbs (23 kg), bend and kneelGood reading, writing and basic mathsCulture and Benefits Supplied meals during allocated rostered shiftsDiscounted onsite car parkingDaily discounted coffee and dining menu, including our world famous La Boca Bar and GrillHow to Apply If you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
