Chef De Partie

Details of the offer

We are a boutique venue located on the northern beaches with good access to parking and public transport.
We are searching for a chef with ability to work flexible hours, up to 5 nights a week and perform duties as required.
You would be required to provide and ensure the highest standard of service to patrons and employees by performing the duties listed below in a highly efficient, effective and professional manner while adhering to company rules, policies and procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Commitment to meeting roster requirements and reasonable changes to those requirements.
Ensure general grooming and hygiene is maintained
Utilize effective communication in dealing with the general public, patrons and staff enquiries
Provide a high level of service
Implement a public relations approach to general enquiries regarding club services, facilities and requirements
Work effectively as part of the team
Responsible for ensuring that hygienic food handling practices are adhered to at all times during the preparation, service and storage of food including date labelling of prepared stock items and stock rotation
To cook and present food items ensuring adherence to recipe cards, customer service principles and hygienic work practices
To manage the daily cleaning of the kitchen and all associated equipment
Responsible for the implementation of O,H &S initiatives
To ensure product and service standards adhere to club guidelines and marketing plan including menu, display, staff presentation and service quality
To implement all club rules and policies as constructed by the Board of Directors and or Secretary Manager
To maintain a clean workplace and to adhere to the cleaning roster
To adhere to all policies and rules as identified in the Employee Handbook
Other duties as directed
