Full Time position in a creative and forward thinking culinary team Lead, train and mentor our junior team members Sustainability is at the heart of our values - locally sourced ingredients Crystalbrook Kingsley has transformed Newcastle's former Council Administration Centre into an elegant and sophisticated 130-room five-star hotel with a signature rooftop bar and restaurant, lobby bar and café along with two private meeting venues. With the City Hall Civic Theatre, Newcastle Art Gallery and War Memorial moments away, Kingsley is culturally connected, celebrating what has been and what is to come.
The Opportunity:With a passion for local produce and flair for extraordinary dishes, you are eager to be part of something innovative and creative in Newcastle.  Cooking amazing food with the best of produce, this Chef De Partie position is designed to role model exceptional workplace health and safety procedures whilst producing exceptional culinary experiences for all our guests.  You will:   
Drive guest satisfaction in service and take great pride in the delivery of incredible flavours and food experiences Foster a culture of innovation and breaking the norm Provide hands-on support to junior members of the kitchen staff   Collaborate closely with the F&B Service team and all departments of the hotel Promote and be accountable for WH&S in our sparkling kitchens Articulate ideas the creation of seasonal and promotional menus  Support the effective procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food   The Talent:You will be enthusiastic and have technical experience from working in a high-functioning kitchen environment, as well as holding a trade qualification relevant to your position. Your curious nature drives you to experiment with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and you excel at creating visually appealing and palate-pleasing dishes. Collaboration is at the heart of our culture and you will readily demonstrate excellent communication skills within a team environment.  We are keen to consider applications that display:
