The Role:
As Chef De Partie, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently and consistently delivers high-quality food. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain exceptional standards, manage food preparation, and mentor junior kitchen staff. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and passion for food will ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen is a true representation of The Farmers Arms Hotel's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with The Farmers Arms Hotel's standards Ensure food is prepared and cooked to a high standard of quality and presentation, monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Manage your designated section of the kitchen and contribute to a harmonious team environment Assist with ordering and inventory control, ensuring stock is rotated and stored correctly Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff Explaining and Enforcing hygiene regulations Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Passion for food and a creative approach to cooking Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organisational skills A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding food every time What We Offer:
