Chef De Partie

We are calling for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team!
Parlour is taking a step in a new direction. With new management, new menu and new experience, this Canberra institution is ready for the next challenge. Housed in the historic Hotel Acton building, Parlour has been a beautiful venue for weddings, functions, dinner and lunch for 15 years.
We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to each of our guests and have built a team of professionals that is recognised for their skills and experience.
Your focus will be: Reporting to the Head ChefEnsuring all food is prepared as per food preparation requirementsMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationEnsuring meals are produced on time and sufficient quantities are available for serviceBeing available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as requiredDiscussing food preparation issues with kitchen staffImplementing, actioning and revising operational standards and proceduresTo really succeed in this role, you will have: A growth-minded attitude and be constantly experimenting and improving the menu in order to develop and grow both as an individual and as a businessA positive team-working attitudeA strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional productA high level of attention to detailIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
