We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our modern facility in Newcastle, on a Casual/Part-Time basis to assist in the Kitchen.

What you will do Assist in ensuring provision of nutritional, culturally relevant and well-presented food to the elderly residents Clean dishes, work benches and other areas as required Understand resident's dietary requirements when serving and preparing food Set and arrange tables and chairs in accordance with procedures Store, prepare and serve food in accordance with the Food Safety Plan Cleaning where required within the facility What we look for Food handling certificate is essential Previous experience with food handling and cleaning Minimum 1 year experience in the Aged Care Sector Proven skills around infection control and safe food handling Proficiency in communication and teamwork Preferred background in aged care or a related field NSW Food Safety Supervisor Must obtain a Cert III in Commercial Cookery Need to work weekends and afternoon shifts Why work with us?
