We are now looking for a reliable and energetic Chef/Cook to join our team. If you are looking for a change from the regular restaurant or café work, then this role would suit you!
Early start required and punctuality is critical.
The candidate must:
Have good knowledge and experience in food preparation work Be able to work under time pressure Work well with other team members Attention to detail Previous experience in a catering company will be preferred Have own transport Good communication skills Responsibilities include:
Food preparation as directed, meeting dietary requirements Follow recipes and presentation specifications Liaise with section leader and head chef re daily and weekly orders Making sure all orders under your sections are correct and ready to be dispatched by the dispatch time Making sure food platters are well presented Review kitchen production sheet daily Assisting in misc kitchen duties including cleaning and organising kitchen according to hygiene and safety regulations Maintaining stocks. Ensuring sufficient stocks for order production Cooking and food preparation This is a permanent casual or part-time position, between Monday – Friday. No night and weekend shift, and no public holidays.
