Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef /Cook in multiple locations, WA. The Chef /Cook will be responsible for daily food preparation and ensuring high-quality products for customers. The role entails working in a professional kitchen environment to create delicious food and contribute to the culinary experience.
The Role You will be responsible for:
Design and develop seasonal menus that align with the regional cuisine and local produce. Prepare high-quality meals according to set recipes and presentation standards. Ensure consistency in food preparation, cooking, and portion control. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen following hygiene protocols. Order and manage inventory, ensuring fresh supplies and minimizing waste. Adhere to food safety standards and implement allergen-free meal options when necessary. Stay updated on food trends and introduce innovative dishes or preparation methods. Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook. Certificate in Commercial Cookery is essential. Food Safety certification or equivalent is preferred. Understanding of dietary requirements and food safety practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Adaptability to Regional Setting. Event Catering Experience (Desirable). About You
