Casual, 20+ hours per week Chef - Trade Qualified Fryer Section THE JOB You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of our larder section, contributing your expertise and creativity to deliver the highest-quality dishes.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
Manage and maintain the fryer section, including stocks, ordering, and inventory control.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service.
Contribute menu development and innovation ideas, keeping up with culinary trends and customer preferences.
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required.
ABOUT YOU Proven experience as a Chef with ability to handle pressure on the fryers.
Proficiency in preparing various dishes with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
Flexibility to work on a casual basis over a 7 day roster.
