Chef At Le Wrap

We are seeking a Chef for Le Wrap Belmore to oversee kitchen operations, maintain high standards, and ensure quality food. Key responsibilities include planning menus, supervising staff, and enforcing health and safety regulations.
• Plan and direct food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a fast-paced setting.
• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, and work with staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Work with the Director to plan menus, supervise staff, and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Ensure the kitchen is kept to a high standard, perform food preparation tasks, and plan work on orders to ensure timely service.
• Assist the Director with recruitment activities, stock and maintain food products, and advise on cooking methods and practices.
• Enforce sanitary practices, comply with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• The ideal candidate will have an AQF Associate Degree, 3 years of work experience in a similar restaurant, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• They must be able to work well under pressure, handle busy service, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• The expected salary for this full-time position is $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
