Ingram Micro is seeking a highly motivated and driven Chat Support Representative to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As a vital point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support through chat channels, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. This position is remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- **Customer Interaction:** Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat, providing accurate and helpful information regarding products, services, and order statuses.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify and analyze customer issues to provide effective solutions in a timely manner while escalating more complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
- **Research and Troubleshooting:** Conduct thorough research on customer inquiries to ensure accurate responses and assist in troubleshooting technical problems related to software and hardware.
- **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the designated support platform, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and other departments to enhance the customer support process, contributing to team goals and fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
- **Feedback and Improvement:** Collect customer feedback and provide insights to the management team for ongoing service improvements and product development.
- **Product Knowledge:** Continuously update yourself on company products, services, and promotions to provide informed support and engage customers effectively.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet and strive to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including response times, customer satisfaction scores, and issue resolution times.
#### Requirements:
**Education and Experience:**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably in a chat support capacity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
**Technical Proficiency:**
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in using chat systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems is desirable.
**Personality Traits:**
- Motivated and driven to succeed individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to remain positive and calm under pressure.
**Soft Skills:**
