About the Position
As a Senior Lecturer Paramedicine, you will contribute to the teaching and development of the discipline of Paramedicine at CDU to build on our reputation as an excellent education provider producing work-ready graduates for the Paramedicine workforce. You will develop and teach paramedicine units across the 3 years of the course, utilizing both on-campus and flexible modes of teaching and learning support, including practical skills in workshops and intensive residential weeks.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Undergraduate degree in Paramedicine and Post-graduate qualification in a related field and/or extensive relevant industry experience. Registered or working towards registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia. Ability to contribute to and lead the development of units/courses and student resources. Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of teaching and learning principles. Understanding of the role and application of accreditation and quality improvement processes in a university setting. Ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the profession in the region. Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of practice in rural and remote areas. Demonstrated knowledge of cultural safety principles. Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level C. The base salary will be in the range of $134,128 to $156,967 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $156,929 to $183,651 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
