As a Lecturer - ICT, Cyber Security & Digital, you will be responsible for delivering training in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Information and Communication Technology Training Package. You will facilitate competency-based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace-based, external and online delivery and will also deliver a range of short courses, including specific IT skills such as Excel and PhotoShop.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a Certificate IV in Information Technology or relevant area, including recent relevant industry work experience – or be willing to obtain. Current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor) and the ability to obtain competencies in additional core units as required. Demonstrated experience providing training either within a workplace setting or educational institution. Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet the needs of students and/or industry clients. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language. Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team. Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages. Demonstrated industry experience in web development with multiple languages including HTML5. Ability to create/produce/modify digital images using a graphics package. Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Level A. The salary will be in the range up to $111,253 per annum + 17% superannuation + 6 weeks annual leave. What's in it for you?
