What's the opportunity?As the Chapter Lead for Business Analysis at Telstra Health, your leadership is essential in advancing the company's vision of delivering connected and improved digital health experiences. By overseeing business analysis activities and ensuring alignment with company strategy, you play a crucial role in driving innovation, optimising processes, and ensuring that the Business Analysis capability within Telstra Health remains competitive, relevant, and aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, setting clear goals, and promoting continuous improvement and effective communication.Financial/Commercial Acumen/Budget Setting: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost saving and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial policies.Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Business Analysis Chapter, ensuring alignment of business analysis activities with company strategy and objectives.Team Management: Manage the performance and culture of the Business Analysis team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills, capabilities, and expertise in business analysis, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.Business Analysis Oversight: Oversee business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process analysis, and solution design, ensuring high quality deliverables that meet project and product goals and objectives.Alignment with Company Strategy: Ensure that business analysis activities are aligned with Telstra Health's strategic priorities, business objectives, and customer needs, driving value creation and innovation.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product management and development teams, to understand their needs, gather requirements, and facilitate communication and alignment.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance business analysis processes, methodologies, and tools, driving efficiencies and improving the overall effectiveness and impact of business analysis activities.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance and effectiveness of business analysis activities, tracking metrics, analysing trends, and providing regular reports and insights to senior management.Recognition and Rewards: Acknowledge and reward team members for their achievements and contributions.Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and issues within the team in a fair and constructive manner.Continual Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with relevant industry trends and best practices in people management.About you:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, business, economics, or a related discipline.Demonstrable experience in managing a large group of business analysis professionals.Demonstrable experience in working through others.Excellent people leadership skills and skills in growing capabilities within organisations.Experience in guiding practice development including setting up of Centre of Excellence or guilds.Experience in working within a Matrix organisation structure.Experience in leading teams of 20 plus members.Broad experience in business analysis in relation to delivery of SaaS based software.Why join Telstra Health:We believe that flexibility is not a 'perk', it's how we have always worked!
