The Role
We're looking for a talented and experienced Android Chapter Lead to play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of high performing Android developers. They're working on the flagship application ensuring high quality enhancement the brand and the digital experience for their customers. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career growth and development.
You'll provide guidance, coaching and support to foster a culture of collaboration in the team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers and other senior stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that achieve business objectives and customer needs.
As an Android Chapter Lead, you'll act as the technical leader and advocate for Android development within the organisation, ensuring QA practices including code reviews, testing and debugging.
The Requirements
Alongside over 6 years of commercial Android development experiment, you'll be able to demonstrate the following:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of leading and mentoring a team of developers Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD principles, and version control systems (eg. Git) Expertise in Android development using Kotlin &/or Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture patterns (MVVM , MVP) and best practices The Perks
