Step into a pivotal role with the Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group (QGCDG) as Change Manager, where you'll champion innovative change management to drive the successful implementation of the Shared Services Policy. Alongside a team of professionals, this role provides the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of change experts, develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies, and collaborate with various groups across Government to revitalize the future of government service delivery.
The key responsibilities of this role will see you:Craft and execute innovative change management strategies tailored to meet the unique demands and opportunities of high-stake projects.Undertake comprehensive impact assessments, ensuring preparedness for change, and engaging crucial stakeholders to drive successful transformation.Engage and invigorate with impactful communications designed to facilitate readiness and enthusiasm for change.Lead a dynamic team of change professionals, guiding their growth through mentoring, for a career in shaping the future.Collaborate across departments to weave change management practices into the fabric of project execution, enhancing outcomes and fostering a resilient, adaptive culture.To thrive in this role, you will need:Proven experience in change management within complex organisations; transformational or significant digital projects experience preferred.Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to develop and maintain professional stakeholder relationships at all levels in an environment of change.Ability to manage complexity associated with project level change across diverse business areas and customer agencies, assessing options and generating innovative solutions.Ability to manage project timeframes and deadlines, prioritising effort to ensure change activities are coordinated, aligned, timely and consider both internal and external stakeholder needs.A minimum of 5 years of experience in change management or a related field.A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related field, and/or accreditation in change management methodology (e.g., Prosci ADKAR Model) is highly desirable.This role caters to sensitive data handling, hence a criminal history check is requisite before commencing the role.
