Contribute to one of the most significant changes to Australian higher education over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University.
About the role
You will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of best practice Change planning and implementation to enable the creation of and transition to the new Adelaide University. Working in the Integration Management Office (IMO), this position will advise and collaborate with key senior leaders and stakeholders across the University of South Australia (UniSA), The University of Adelaide (UoA) and the Integration and Transformation Partner (I&TP). You will play a leadership role in breaking down complexity to ensure quality delivery of change and communications interventions bringing your insights and experience to bear on change activities that are foundational to the integration program's success.
Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop plans, measurements and reporting for cross-functional and cross-domain change, based on interdependencies and opportunities for collaboration and experience-led interventions.Ensure quality control and governance in change planning, while managing interdependencies, risks, and alignment with other program units.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance change leadership, build capability, and strengthen credibility for change management across the IMO and both universities.Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, serving as a primary adviser on change and coaching "change agents."Provide leadership and management to the change team, fostering a positive culture, managing issues, and supporting team performance.Essential Skills and Experience Significant experience in implementing transformational change at a program and/or enterprise level within diverse, complex environments.Deep knowledge of change management principles, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of the change process and how people adapt to it.Strong project and program management skills, with a track record in adapting to emerging and competing priorities within the project lifecycle.Advanced stakeholder management abilities, with success in working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrated through clear messaging to varied audiences, influencing alignment toward shared goals.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, providing leadership and contributing to achieving overall team objectives and quality outcomes.About the new Adelaide University
