Security Clearance Required for this role: Must have at least Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred.Must be an Australian CitizenMon to Fri - office hoursWorking from our Canberra client site, you'll collaborate closely with a small team to ensure seamless implementation of changes and releases, adhering to strict Defence policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare changes to meet operational requirements.Coordinate changes effectively across multiple vendors.Conduct governance activities in alignment with change and release processes.Ensure strict adherence to Defence change and release policies.Facilitate change reviews and approvals.Manage the forward schedule of change, mitigating scheduling conflicts.Identify and implement Continuous Service Improvements.Commit to adhering to Defence delivery methods and outcomes.Secondary Role Functions: Support incident, problem, and service request fulfillment processes.Essential Criteria: Self-motivated with a drive to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes.Excellent presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision.Highly Desirable Skills and Experience: ITIL V3 or V4 certification or understanding of ITIL processes.Understanding of how change and release management processes integrate with other ITIL processes.Familiarity with Defence ITSM processes.Hands-on experience with Service Manager or other service management tools.
