SA Water is seeking a Change and Transition Lead to provide change expertise, advice, and support to the business ensuring effective change management plans and practices are in place and effectively implemented to enable the successful and sustainable delivery of the organisational initiatives.
As a Change & Transition Lead, you will drive effective change within our organisation. You will lead the development and execution of change management programs across various agile projects to achieve seamless transition and improvement outcomes for the customer and corporate program within Technology.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
Lead change management for customer and corporate technology projects and improvements.
Work with project leads and working groups to clearly identify customer, organisational, and employee impacts and risks as a result of the changes being implemented.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and business managers to ensure a strong linkage between technology, process, and change for the program/project.
Monitor and report on the change management plans at a program/project level.
Act as a contact point for impacted leaders/staff for guidance and direction to manage change and resistance.
Engage with key stakeholders and staff on the development of change plans and activities.
Establish change management working groups or teams where appropriate.
Serve as a bridge for affected teams, fostering relationships.
Involve staff and create communication plans for project success.
Develop and deliver training plans in conjunction with impacted teams to maximise adoption and usage and effectively manage resistance.
Your success in this role will come from:
Appropriate change management qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills.
Effective influencing, liaison, and negotiation skills in potentially complex situations.
Experience with change management, process, system, and business implementations.
Familiarity with agile project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
An excellent understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
